The new Canyon app is designed to make it easier for buyers to get started with a new bike and provide tips for maintenance. Users also have the option of receiving news from Canyon.

As of now, the bicycle mail order company is offering its customers an app in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Anyone who enters their frame number or scans the QR code will receive tips on their Canyon bike.

"We created the Canyon app to make owning a Canyon bike as easy as possible right from the start, and to help our customers get the most out of their bikes for years to come. To do this, we've integrated a whole range of features that make everything from initial assembly to everyday rides, maintenance and parking easier," says Lionel Guicherd-Callin, Global Director Canyon Connected, describing the idea behind the app.

Canyon App: Further functions in planning

Canyon also uses the app as a marketing tool: the news can be obtained optionally. Canyon plans to offer bike insurance via the app in the near future. "Tips from the Canyon pros" have also been announced for the future.

The app also works on older smartphones from Android 7.1 and Apple iOS 15. The free Canyon app is available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
