The outer shape of the Ultimate CF frame corresponds to last year's top model from Koblenz. Cheaper carbon fibres push the weight up a little, but the set weight is still absolutely fine in this price range. External cables and the BSA threaded bottom bracket are no longer completely up-to-date, but do not have any practical disadvantages. The equipment is well above the class level. Campa's Chorus groupset conveys top-class flair both functionally and visually. The tried and tested Mavic wheels roll on top Continental tyres - a world of difference to the cheap tyres sometimes fitted by the competition. At 7.1 kilos, the bike is light for its price range and impresses with its unwavering smoothness and good damping. The handlebars with grippy handlebar tape sit perfectly in the hands.
