BMC Roadracer SL01 2012
The Roadracer from BMC comes with a customised design, has a relatively heavy carbon frame with solid equipment and conveys professional flair.

The Roadracer SL01 attracts attention with its individual design language. Examples of BMC's typical attention to detail are the aerodynamic seat tube, which is continued in the fully height-adjustable aero seat post, and the reinforcing brace between the top tube and seat tube. On the scales, the frameset is one of the heavier ones in the test, but most of the competition is better when it comes to riding stability. In fast bends, the bike is grateful when the rider grips the handlebars firmly; however, the riding characteristics are not really critical. The Swiss manufacturer and professional team operator relies on tried and tested equipment: a complete Ultegra groupset, stable wheels from DT Swiss, add-on parts from Easton. Only the simple Conti tyres do not match the other quality standards.
