BMC Roadracer SL01 Di2
A beauty from Switzerland with many exclusive details. Tuning tip: better tyres

The silhouette with low-set seat stays and the reinforcement brace between the seat tube and top tube makes the Roadracer the face of the crowd. BMC also takes an exclusive approach to mounting the Di2 battery: the position under the down tube just above the bottom bracket is not found on any other Di2 bike. In the practical test, the Roadracer is extremely manoeuvrable thanks to its short trail. The riding position is moderately sporty and the suspension gives a secure feeling on descents. At most, heavy riders would like a little more riding stability. The aerodynamic seatpost is much more comfortable than its shape would suggest. We have repeatedly criticised BMC for always fitting cheap tyres to its more expensive models ex works. Thanks to the modular programme, however, this blunder can be corrected at the time of purchase.
