Since this spring, Trenga De bikes have only been available by mail order and in two bike shops in northern Germany. The change to direct sales is intended to make the bikes cheaper and therefore more successful. At least as far as the price is concerned, the plan is already bearing fruit: you will probably look in vain for a bike with a complete "Red" groupset from SRAM for 2,400 euros. The other features of the "GLR 8.0" are also nothing to sneeze at. Aerodynamic Citec wheels, top tyres from Continental and the handlebar combination from Syntace meet high-end requirements. The riding position and high stiffness values of the robust aluminium frame predestine the bike as a work tool for sporty riders with racing ambitions. Nevertheless, comfort is not a foreign word, and the bike is one of the best in the test in terms of suspension comfort on the saddle.
