Only a week has passed since his surprising world championship victory. Now world champion Mads Pedersen is riding a Trek Madone with a special paint job.
"I still can't believe it," says the new world champion Mads Pedersen. "Wearing the rainbow jersey is every racer's dream and I will do everything in my power over the next 12 months to honour the jersey." Although Pedersen will only be racing three more times after the World Championships, he will do so with an unmistakable customised bike. As part of the customisation machinery Project Onewhich is also available to non-professionals, Pedersen has designed a special Trek Madone together with Trek engineers.
