The Trek Madone has a relatively heavy but very comfortable carbon frame with a lifetime warranty and is solidly equipped.

The Madone 4.7 is based on a technically solid, relatively heavy carbon frame. With multiple variations in tube profiles, an asymmetrical seat tube and an extra-wide bottom bracket shell, the bike has an individual appearance that clearly sets it apart from the competition. One detail that is increasingly being copied by other manufacturers is a transmitter integrated into the left chainstay that communicates with ANT+-compatible computers. The class-typical Ultegra groupset is joined by attachments and solid, albeit rather heavy, wheels from Trek's own brand Bontrager. On the road, the bike is manoeuvrable and smooth-running, with precise steering and well-balanced damping on the saddle and handlebars. The H2 geometry is the middle of three variants and hits the golden mean between a sporty and racing design.
