Ingenious and customised. Super cushioning on the saddle, comfortable riding position. The high outlay puts the price into perspective.

Real suspension comfort on the saddle, paired with a relaxed riding position: a ball-bearing joint connects the top tube and seat tube of the Domane (pronounced: Domanieh). The seat tube therefore flexes over its entire length - visibly! The effect is amazing, noticeable from the very first metre and qualifies the bike as the perfect long-distance racer. Also because the frame offers the option of mounting mudguards (frame and fork have discreetly integrated threads). The wheelbase is relatively long and the steering is well-balanced, so the handling is unagitated. The riding stability is sufficient for most situations. The equipment is largely based on parts from Trek's own brand Bontrager and appears unspectacular but solid. The Ultegra Di2 drivetrain is neatly integrated into the surprisingly light frame and is known to work perfectly.
