Ten marathon racers between 2,000 and 6,000 euros are shown in our test in TOUR 12/2019. All models are the bestsellers in their respective ranges. Surprisingly, despite the enormous price range, the bikes are quite close together in terms of the scores. Only Specialized and Canyon stand out a little; the former because it is by far the most expensive bike in the test, the latter because of the price advantage Canyon has as a mail order company. The TOUR test procedure
TOUR tests all bikes and most of the components in its own Laboratorywhose beginnings date back to 1993. The measured values of many thousands of bikes of all categories form the backbone of the tests, which we are constantly developing further together with the Zedler Institute for Bicycle Technology and Safety.
