Cube's winter racer is also based on an inexpensive aluminium cross frame, which offers sufficient clearance for 28 millimetre wide road tyres including mudguards.

The frame set with low-set seat stays is extremely stiff, yet provides a lot of comfort on the saddle. Thanks to the thru-axles and disc brakes with flat mount, it is technically up to date, internally routed cables and cables even in the fork sheath make the bike look very tidy. The equipment with Shimano's new 105-level hydro brakes and matching drivetrain with a wide range of gears is very decent for the price and functionally beyond any doubt; the Attain is trimmed for the mucky weather by the very stable mudguard set specially developed for the bike at a fair surcharge of 40 euros and puncture-proof Schwalbe Durano tyres with reflective strips. For the lights, however, you have to resort to a set of battery-powered lights.

CONCLUSION Modern and independent frame. Equipment without weaknesses, robust tyres. Comfortable riding position.
