The second cheapest bike in the test comes with an Ultegra groupset without cheating parts, surprisingly light, tubeless-compatible wheels and a comfortable carbon seatpost. The frame in discreet anthracite may not be an eye-catcher, but on closer inspection it is very neatly finished with polished weld seams. All cables run on the outside, which looks less tidy but is easier to maintain. Long-distance enthusiasts and cyclists who appreciate a smooth straight-line runner should be happy with this bike - the steering behaviour is somewhat less nervous than on classic racers, and the riding position is almost comfortable. A lifetime guarantee on the frame and eight finely graduated frame sizes are further arguments in favour of the bike.
ConclusionLightweight, well-made aluminium frame, convincingly equipped, fair price. Comfortable riding position, many sizes
