The revised carbon frame may not look particularly original, but it is cleanly finished and passed the lab test without any weaknesses apart from the rather high weight. Less trained riders as well as climbing enthusiasts can look forward to an Ultegra groupset, which is equipped with a 12-32 sprocket and compact crankset for the steepest climbs. The riding position, which is not too stretched out, is suitable for tours in mountainous terrain - with 25 millimetre wide tyres, the Revelator would make a sporty marathon racer. The comparatively high overall weight is determined by the wheels and simple Ritchey Comp parts; there is potential to tune the bike by several hundred grams at a manageable cost. A lightweight carbon seatpost would offer a little more comfort.
Conclusion: Quite heavy for a carbon frame, simple wheels and components. Good groupset with mountain gear ratio
