The virtues of the race classic remain untouched. The frame set, which is quite light in comparison, is extremely stable, and the TCR has even improved comfort at the rear thanks to the thinner aero seat post - all in all one of the best frame sets in the test. The geometry is sporty, on the road the bike turns out to be more of a stable straight-line runner than a manoeuvrable cornering predator. There is little to criticise about the equipment; we liked the complete Ultegra groupset and the comfortable saddle. With slightly higher quality wheels and tyres, a few hundred grams could be saved and the bike would be a little more lively.
Conclusion: Well-made, stable frame set, equipped at class level. Sporty riding position, very smooth
