Rose X-Lite Team-8800
Although the X-Lite Team frame has no special aero features, the bike is the fastest in the internal comparison of this test (225 watts at 45 km/h; score 3.3).

The main reason for this is the fast 404 Firestrike wheels that Rose provides from its modular programme. In practice, the effect of the fast wheels is clearly noticeable. Compared to models with flat rims, the rider has to make noticeably less effort to keep up the pace. The X-Lite Team not only shines in the wind tunnel, but also in the other laboratory disciplines. The lightweight frameset is only beaten in weight by Trek. The bike doesn't give away any points in terms of comfort on the saddle either. The balanced performance is rewarded with a well-deserved test victory (alongside Giant). The fact that the bike is reasonably affordable thanks to direct sales is another argument in its favour.

CONCLUSION Lightweight, extremely smooth-running, noticeably and measurably fast, very well equipped. Reasonably affordable
