The voluminous, almost rectangular down tube acts as the backbone of the bike, so to speak. The cross brace between the seat tube and top tube is also familiar from other BMC models. The fork is also unique, tapering sharply under the massive head. In the ride test, the bike impressed with its smooth ride and pleasantly cushioned rear end. The riding position is sporty, but not extremely stretched. Partly responsible for the low weight are the lightweight carbon wheels from Shimano, fitted with tubular tyres. However, their flat rims prove to be a disadvantage in the wind tunnel, where the bike shows its only weakness. The excellent braking behaviour of the rims in combination with yellow SwissStop pads is remarkable.
CONCLUSION Lightweight, stable ride, good suspension comfort, striking looks. Moderate aerodynamics, expensive
