In 2016, Corratec will be the supplier of the ambitious Swiss Pro-Continental team Roth-Škoda. With the new CCT Evo, the team has the right equipment for the job.

The short head tube allows a stretched position, high rigidity guarantees the best power transmission and riding stability. Corratec took a middle course when it came to aerodynamic tuning. The voluminous down tube was given an aero profile, while the seat tube and seat post remained round. The bike performed well in the wind tunnel, but the aero potential is almost exhausted with the own-brand wheels. Although the carbon seat post offers good suspension, the bike felt rather harsh during the test ride - a result of the relatively narrow 23 mm tyres. The direct mount brakes positioned behind the bottom bracket create a slight discord: when sprinting and pedalling, the pads touch the rim. This could be remedied by a laterally stiffer rear wheel.

CONCLUSION Extremely stable, race-orientated riding position, second-best aerodynamics in the test. Rear brake can drag when pedalling out of the saddle
