Last but not least, many well thought-out details make the bike an almost irresistible proposition. The elegant handlebar/stem unit with integrated Di2 junction box, whose clear lines are probably one reason for the good aero result, is just one example. The disadvantage of the combined solution is that changing the stem length requires the entire handlebar to be replaced. Even those who transport the bike frequently may be better served with a modular handlebar. In addition to the impressive technology, the Koblenz-based company has a price advantage over the competition. Let's hope that the delivery problems that alienated many Canyon customers at the end of 2015 have now been resolved.
