Scott has made a big aerodynamic leap with the second model generation, 211 watts is a good result. The new Foil is an outstanding bike because it is very good in key disciplines: lowest frameset weight in the test, high suspension comfort on the saddle, extremely stable. The silhouette is characterised by the striking handlebar/stem unit, which fits snugly to the top tube thanks to matching spacers. With a complete Dura-Ace Di2 including Sprinter shifters and 404 Firecrest wheels from Zipp, the bike offers hardly any tuning potential, but is also priced out of the ballpark. Among other things, the difficult-to-access seat clamp bolt under a cover, which in turn has to be unscrewed first, is not very service-friendly.
CONCLUSION Very good in all competition-relevant disciplines, super equipment. Some awkward details. Expensive
