No significant disadvantage can be derived from the measurements: The X-Lite CW X-8800 is only eight watts short of the fastest bikes, placing it in the narrowly staggered midfield of the comparison. On the other hand, the superior brakes can be the difference between victory and defeat, especially on descents in the rain. A comparison with other wheels was not possible due to the different systems, but the difference to the slightly higher 404 rims should not be very big. Alternatively, the bike is also available with rim brakes, whereby only a different fork is fitted, as the frame already has threads for a direct mount brake behind the bottom bracket. The already stretched geometry is exacerbated by the flat stem.
