During this time, there were numerous team replicas, some of which, such as the CAAD4 in the look of the legendary Saeco team, are now sought-after classics. The CAAD10 with Ultegra equipment in Cannondale-Garmin colours is a relatively inexpensive commitment to professional cycling. It is based on a high-quality, stable and lightweight aluminium frame, which can easily compete with many mid-range carbon frames. The solid equipment with mechanical Ultegra groupset and Mavic wheels offers no cause for criticism. Only the suspension comfort is not up to scratch, although this shortcoming could easily be remedied with a better-sprung carbon seatpost and wider tyres. Although the tyres are nominally 25 millimetres wide, they are narrower. The stretched seating position characterises the bike as a racing machine.
ConclusionVery stable ride, high quality functional equipment, stretched seating position. Deductions for suspension comfort. Generous warranty.
