Test 2015: Specialised Allez Comp
Lightweight, stable frame with good comfort on the saddle and a sporty riding position.

At the heart of the Allez Comp is a surprisingly light aluminium frame with external cables and race-oriented geometry. Only the gears come from the new 105 groupset. The BB30 crankset comes from FSA, while Specialized supplies the brakes and wheels under its own Axis brand. The brakes look high-quality and are powerful, but in direct comparison the 105 calipers are more powerful. Apart from the rather heavy wheels, there is no reason to criticise. The well thought-out components from the Specialized range are a selling point. The angle-adjustable stem allows precise adjustment of the riding position. The comfortable saddle and ergonomically shaped handlebars also make you feel at ease straight away.
