Test 2015: Rose Pro SL-2000
High-quality, lightweight frame set with comfortable seating position and solid equipment. Available up to size 65.

The Bocholt-based mail order company has thoroughly overhauled its aluminium bestseller Pro SL ahead of this season. The frame, which is available in nine sizes, now has an angular top tube that tapers sharply towards the rear. The new shape and internally routed cables significantly enhance the model. In combination with the light, well-sprung fork, the frameset is a serious alternative to cheap carbon frames.

The complete 105 groupset is joined by solid Aksium wheels from Mavic rolling on 25 millimetre tyres. Ritchey components round off the package and the voluminous handlebars, which are angled slightly towards the rider, are very comfortable to grip. The riding position is relaxed thanks to the flawless comfort geometry; a long wheelbase and a rigid frame help the bike to run straight.
