Slightly wider tyres underline the all-rounder's aspirations on asphalt. But Simplon has even more in mind with the platform. With a long wheelbase and plenty of tyre clearance, the frame set even allows for thick studded tyres. In addition to eight Granfondo variants, the Simplon modular system also includes an off-road version of the bike. Integrated mudguard eyelets are also on board, which extends the range of use even further. With thru axles front and rear and Shimano's direct mount for the brakes, the frame is state of the art. Simplon provides top tyres and high-quality add-on parts such as the very pleasantly shaped carbon handlebars at a rather high price.
CONCLUSION Versatile marathon racer that can also be converted into a crosser. High-quality add-on parts, few sizes
