Test 2015: Fuji Altamira CX 1.3 Disc
The frame set of the Altamira CX already convinced our testers a year ago. Conclusion back then: fully race-ready. This time too, the Fuji ranks in the top group of the test field in the subjective perception of the riders.

The equipment with the Force CX1 groupset from SRAM and clincher tyres is not quite as spectacular as the 2014 model, but € 2,800 is very fair for a carbon bike with modern shifting and braking technology. Visually, the frame doesn't look quite as sophisticated as some others; however, external brake lines offer advantages when servicing. The riding position is as impeccable as ever. One tester's realisation: "You sit in the bike instead of on it." Add a second, lighter wheelset with tubular tyres - and the next cross race can come.

What the testers say

Falko Everything fits here. Nice and manoeuvrable. For me, it's number two of all, right up there with BMC.
Semyon Extremely easy to control, one of my favourites. It's amazing that the front brakes with 160 mm discs grip so much better than the 140 mm discs from BMC.
