Contoura, wholesaler Hartje's own brand, takes part in the TOUR test for the first time. The no-frills, powder-coated aluminium frame impresses with its acceptable weight, high rigidity and is available in seven closely spaced sizes. Part of the concept is that all models can be customised. On the test bike, this option was used to equip the bike to a comparatively high standard, which explains the higher price compared to the competition. In addition to the complete 105, the relatively light 3T wheels fitted with 25 millimetre wide top-of-the-range Conti tyres are particularly striking. Unfortunately, the front rim in particular produces an unpleasant braking rub due to inaccurate machining of the flanks. Attachments from the Hartje programme make a high-quality impression, but we would choose a more voluminous handlebar.
