The bike accelerates at lightning speed and is extremely agile to steer. Disadvantage of the design: Even with medium-sized feet, there is a risk of contact with the front wheel due to the short front end. Nevertheless, our testers were delighted with the set-up of the CX1. Our verdict on the disc brakes was mixed. The 140 mm disc at the front offers noticeably less braking power than the 160 mm discs on the other bikes. This is ok in cross races, but a little more braking power would be desirable in many everyday situations. The Conti folding tyre is a passable all-rounder with weaknesses in deep terrain.
