Although declared by the manufacturer as a long-distance model, the riding position is not quite as relaxed as other bikes of its kind, but rather hits the centre between the extremes. The Ventoux Disc is the lightest frameset in the test field and is convincing in every other respect. The bike can be customised using the modular principle, and Stevens didn't make a single mistake on the test bike. Dura-Ace gears, DT Swiss wheels with carbon rims, high-quality Ritchey WCS components and Conti's top 25 mm wide tyres are all lightweight, functional and reliable components. Stevens also focuses on safety when it comes to the brakes and installs 160 millimetre discs at the front and rear. The successful overall package shares the test victory with Storck.
