Bergamont is primarily known for long-stroke mountain bikes. The harmonious Prime Team, whose light blue and yellow paintwork provides a refreshing colour accent, proves that the Hamburg-based company also builds good racing bikes. Thanks to its comparatively long wheelbase, the stable frame is very stable. The riding position is sporty, the cockpit with the carbon handlebars angled slightly towards the rider and the ergonomically significantly improved new Force levers feel perfect. Thanks to a compliant carbon seat post, you sit comfortably. With the lightest wheels in the test, the bike accelerates agilely, Schwalbe's One tyres impress with good grip and low rolling resistance. SRAM's WiFli cassette with the 32 t mountain sprocket offers reserves for the steepest ramps and long climbs.
