A no-frills aluminium frame with straight tubes, single-colour powder coating and complete equipment without experiments - the character of the "Vision Light" is characterised by straight lines. Although the high-quality frame base is not one of the lightest, it has plenty of stiffness reserves. The frame is unlikely to cause any problems even at high frame heights. The complete new "Ultegra" groupset including wheels fits in well with the concept. While the look of the new Shimano groupset is still a matter of debate, the matt black rims with their mismatched finish definitely detract from the overall impression. The in-house handlebars of the test bike also have to endure criticism, as no tester's hands felt comfortable on the laterally sloping, hard top bar despite its large surface. With an entry-level model for just under € 2,200, Storck underpins the brand's premium claim, but considering the largely very good equipment, the bike is by no means overpriced.
