The Scentron is one of the first Di2 models on the market for which a version for mechanical drivetrains is not planned. The Di2 integration with the battery position on the down tube on special threads is worth seeing, just as the overall impression is very harmonious. The three-colour matt finish throughout harmonises perfectly with the cool stealth bomber look of the Ksyrium SLR wheels. The wheels are also the only source of discord, as they screech horribly under braking. However, we know from experience that this will subside after a break-in period. Apart from that, the bike is impressively smooth and a special comfort seatpost does its job effectively. The steep price could be significantly reduced with other wheels. The Storck range also includes much cheaper and quieter wheels.
