Extremely stable, light, very good equipment. Not quite up to date in terms of saddle spring comfort.

The Fenomalist frame was technically and visually refreshed before this season. The cables now run inside the frame and the cranks now rotate in a modern press-fit bottom bracket. As usual with Storck, high rigidity calms the ride; the relatively long head tube raises the handlebars and enables a relaxed riding position suitable for long distances even without many spacers. The bike also impresses with its stoic straight-line stability. Lightweight R-Sys wheels from Mavic, fitted with 25-millimetre UltraTremos tyres, boost the propulsion and, in combination with Campa's wide-ratio eleven-speed transmission, give the 6.7-kilogram bike the best climbing characteristics. The handlebars are comfortable to grip, but the oversized seatpost is less bouncy than slimmer models. The matt white paintwork looks classy, but it gets dirty easily and is not easy to clean.
