"G2" stands for the second generation of the Fascenario 0.7. The technical values alone would not have given Storck any reason to revise the model after six years. However, with external cables and a threaded bottom bracket, the frame looked a little old-fashioned. As a G2, the Fascenario has a press-fit bottom bracket and the option of mounting internal cables or electronic drivetrains with integrated cables. Weighing in at 968 grams, the frame is the heaviest of the quartet and confirms the trend that the Fascenario 0.7 has always gained a little weight from test to test. The spectacularly light Stiletto fork manufactured by THM and the ceramic bearings from Acros nevertheless guarantee a low set weight. Nevertheless, Storck had to pull out a few stops to crack the six-kilo mark. The sinfully expensive Powerarms cranks and the milestone wheels from Lightweight in the lightweight Obermayer version proved to be helpful.
In the riding test, the bike impressed as ever with its uncompromising propulsion and unwavering riding stability. The damping, on the other hand, is only average.
