The relatively light carbon frame of the "Absolutist" stands out with its clean finish and enormously wide fork blades. At 1,066 grams with acceptable stiffness values, it is one of the lighter frames in this test. Storck was the only supplier to choose the new "Athena" groupset from Campagnolo to build the bike. The fact that the groupset is so rarely fitted cannot be due to the function of the eleven-speed ensemble. The shifting behaviour is crisp and precise, the brakes are easy to modulate and the shift brake levers fit perfectly in the hand. The riding impression is positively unobtrusive. The bike tracks true and, thanks to the new carbon seatpost, which is available in three different stiffnesses and can therefore be customised to the rider's wishes, offers noticeable suspension comfort at the rear.
