With the colours grey and anthracite, accentuated by sparingly used red spots, the Xenon carbon frame doesn't make much of a fuss about itself. Its inner values are all the more remarkable: frame set weighing just over 1,400 grams, extremely high riding stability - not so long ago, these were the characteristics of a high-end model. Contemporary details such as the press-fit bottom bracket, tapered steerer tube and cable stops, which can be replaced with cable inputs for the Di2 drivetrain if required, are a perfect match. The only thing that could be criticised about the equipment is that the shiny Ritchey add-on parts do not harmonise with the matt frame. Otherwise, the following is true: the components used are solid and proven. In the saddle, the exemplary steering precision and the pleasant damping, which makes a difference, especially on rough tarmac, are pleasing.
