No more Hanseatic restraint: with the lovingly painted aluminium racer Vicenza, the Hamburg-based manufacturer is playing the Italian card. It is no coincidence that the name refers to the city from which Campagnolo originates. The component manufacturer also provides the majority of the equipment. "Would have deserved more buyers", says the test report about the Athena groupset. The shift brake levers are comfortable to hold, the gears change easily and with definition, the brakes are easy to modulate. Otherwise, the bike rides pleasantly unobtrusively. The bombproof, rather heavy chassis is unfamiliar. The manoeuvrable steering behaviour would have been described as Italian in the past.
