No room for misunderstanding: Stevens promises "relaxed racing" for the Ventoux and praises its high level of comfort, although the bike is actually a normal racing bike with a sporty riding position. The frame offers interesting contrasts with a strongly flattened top tube, the square seat tube and thin seat stays. The elegantly integrated seat clamp is a real eye-catcher. Low weight and high riding stability make the bike the ideal companion for Alpine marathons, for which a wider-stepped cassette would be desirable - no problem with the Stevens modular system. The equipment with Campas Chorus groupset, Eurus wheels and Ritchey components is generous. The only real comfort feature, however, are the 25 mm tyres.
