The carbon frame of the "Cyclocross Team" is also used in the bike of cross-country world champion Niels Albert. Its weight of less than two kilos including the fork provides the basis for the low overall weight. The tubular tyres glued to the Ksyrium "SL" wheels iron out even the roughest of bumps and provide grip. The wheelset and tyres were fitted at our request. With Ksyrium "Elite" wheels, Schwalbe folding tyres and otherwise identical equipment, the bike costs € 2,799. In order to eliminate the annoying fork vibration caused by cantilever brakes, a brake cable counter-holder was fitted to the fork crown. This works as desired, but the brakes remain a weak point. With the new "Dura-Ace" brake levers, you need a lot of force to bring the bike safely to a halt - definitely too much from the brake lever position.
