Trendsetter reloaded: technically and visually harmonious. Elegant, sporty, light, stable, agile and well thought-out, but expensive.

It's hard to deny that the new S-Works Roubaix is a beautiful bike. Much of what polarised the predecessor now fits harmoniously into the concept. The tube diameters are less bulky and matched to the frame sizes, the typical elastomers in the fork and seat stays are more elegantly integrated. The riding position is moderately sporty and can be adjusted in any direction using the angle-adjustable stem. Thanks to its low weight and lightweight aero wheels, the bike "hangs well on the throttle". High riding stability and a long wheelbase guarantee a smooth ride in all road conditions. We did not notice a leap in damping compared to the predecessor, the overall set-up appears harmonious. The optional Cobl-Gobl seat post with elastomer damping works more unobtrusively than its original shape would suggest.
