The original: good damping, high riding stability and clever details. However, the Specialized Roubaix is relatively heavy.

"Well damped" is the most apt description for the riding impression of the Roubaix SL3 Expert. The extent to which the entire frame construction is designed for high flex becomes clear on the comfort test bench, where the entire upper half of the frame from the rear dropout to the head tube moves visibly during the measurement without this being at the expense of riding stability. The fact that the bike feels even more cushioned than the two competitors is probably also due to the 25-millimetre tyres. Critics might object that the bike lacks a bit of sporty character, which is also due to its relatively high weight. However, Specialized has the Tarmac series in its range. Clever detail: an angle-adjustable stem that allows a total of eight different settings.
