The dynamic curve in the top tube gives the sporty entry-level model "Allez" from Specialized a kind of brand face. The geometry has also been adopted from the high-end "Tarmac" model - perhaps that's why you don't immediately notice that the bike weighs more than nine kilos: It can be manoeuvred around bends with agility and precision. Riding stability is not an issue with the large-volume aluminium tubes, while the slim carbon seat post provides a comfortable ride. No savings were made on the "105" equipment. The classic 32-spoke wheels with proven Mavic rims may not be the lightest, but they promise high mileage even for heavy riders and are easy to repair. The comfortable saddle, adjustable stem and compact handlebars round off the range nicely.
