Pavo or Nexio? With Simplon, the choice is difficult. The lightweight Pavo is definitely the more good-natured bike because it is significantly better damped. However, the geometry leaves no doubt that the Pavo's main purpose is for racing. As we found out after testing the 700 gram Pavo-3-Ultra frame (TOUR 12/2013 ->), the "normal" Pavo is the better choice for most riders. Not only because it is slightly cheaper, but above all because of its significantly greater riding stability. Nevertheless, with a weight of 822 grams in size 55, the frame is still one of the extremely light models. The aero result (19th place, 1:46 minutes behind the Cervélo S5) is unspectacular, the weight of the complete bike, which is built entirely with standard components, is remarkable.
