The great aero frame is the argument in favour of this bike. Solid groupset, but weak wheels and heavy. Many sizes available.

In this test, the Swiss send the most favourable version of the aero model Foil, which has already proven its good aerodynamics in the wind tunnel test (TOUR 2/2012->). Despite using lighter carbon fibres than the top model, the frame is light and stable. The details are also harmonious: The stops for the internal cables are perfectly integrated and the smart seatpost clamp is a feast for the eyes. There is little to be said against the equipment with Shimano's complete 105 groupset and well-made components from Scott's own Synchros brand. The simple wheels are the decisive factor for the mediocre test result, as they are a far cry from the level of the frame. Nevertheless, the bike can be interesting: If you already own aero wheels or want to buy them, this is an excellent basis for an aerodynamically superior package.
