Technically solid frame with good equipment. Top workmanship and many sizes. Simple tyres.

The CR1 is now in its fourth year, making it one of the classics among road bikes trimmed for comfort. External gear cables and the somewhat outdated oversized seat post indicate that the frame is no longer quite as new, but this is hardly noticeable in the saddle. The riding position is almost sporty, the riding stability is at a medium level and is perfectly fine for the vast majority of riders. The equipment with mechanical Ultegra hardly shows any weaknesses. The wheels with DT Swiss hubs and high-quality rims, which like the other add-on parts bear the label of the Synchros brand recently acquired by Scott, stand out positively. The only point of criticism is the cheap tyres with clearly audible rolling noise and moderate cornering grip.
