By far the lightest frameset in the test, the Addict seamlessly continues Scott's long tradition of lightweight construction. Similar to Cervélo with the R5, the Swiss brand's engineers have also taken aerodynamic considerations into account with the new Addict. The tube profiles have the cross-section of a capped droplet, which definitely brings advantages in the wind tunnel. The Addict is the fastest of the conventional frames after the R5. The stiffness values are in the green zone, only heavy riders and sprinter types would like more. Overall, a well-balanced bike with a sporty riding position that most riders will be happy with.
