Scott Addict 10 2014
Modernised classic with an all-round convincing appearance. Lightweight, stable and well cushioned.

With the Addict 10, Scott rounds off the revitalised Addict series at the bottom end. Although the frame is heavier than the top Team Issue and Premium models, at 917 grams in size 56 it is still one of the lightest in this test. Once in the saddle, the bike is an instant hit. Accompanied by a robust freewheel buzz, the lightweight bike reacts spontaneously to acceleration and stoically stays on course in fast corners. Apart from the simple tyres, you don't miss the more expensive equipment, and the wheels and components make a good impression. The longer you ride, the clearer it becomes what characterises the new Addict. The bike is very well damped on the saddle. 93 N/mm is one of the best values measured to date - and a new quality of the Addict. Because the predecessor was never considered comfortable.
