In the test in TOUR 2/2013-> we had criticised Rose's aero racer for slight weaknesses in stiffness. The Bocholt-based mail order company has responded to this. The frame is now very stiff in the steering head and bottom bracket, but the frameset is also around 150 grams heavier than a year ago. The design with narrow tube profiles corresponds to the widespread idea of aerodynamic bikes. In fact, the frame is faster than most round tube frames. In the circle of aero specialists, however, the Xeon CW is one of the slower models after the new test setup; only Storck's Aernario generates even more drag. A very convincing argument, as is usually the case with Rose, is the good price-performance ratio.
