The PRO-RS 5000 is a road bike with the emphasis on the first syllable. The riding position is stretched, the seat angle steep - so you can put a lot of pressure on the pedals. Despite the highest stiffness values, comfort on the saddle is not neglected; the lightweight carbon seat post provides noticeable suspension. With a press-fit bottom bracket, tapered head tube and internally routed cables, the appearance is modern and the weight is around 70 grams less than its predecessor, the PRO-SL. After Rose recently sent its bikes to the test with SRAM components, this time the choice fell on Campagnolo. The Chorus groupset impresses with very good braking and shifting performance. The compact handlebars from 3T harmonise perfectly with the easy-to-grip brake levers. Lightweight wheels from DT Swiss give the bike lively handling despite the long trail.
