Alongside the Xeon introduced in 2012, Rose is keeping the Pro-RS aluminium frame in its range. And rightly so, as the comparison shows, because it is far from outdated compared to the competition. The 345 gram carbon fork makes a significant contribution to the competitive weight, and the other laboratory values are also top - except for the fork comfort. Beautifully integrated cables, tapered head tube and press-fit bearings are in keeping with the times. The bike is a lot of fun: the mixture of a comparatively long wheelbase with a lot of trail and a steep steering angle rides extremely well. The equipment is impeccable and the wheels are among the lightest in the test. The very stretched seating position could be defused with a different stem or more spacers - like the saddle, handlebars and gear ratio, these can be freely selected when ordering.
