There's nothing wrong with the KTM's frameset - cleanly finished, with internally routed cables and good technical values, it's a nice basis for an inexpensive racer.

The geometry is sporty, although not as extreme as the Felt. However, there are several disappointing features that put the bike behind in this comparison. Only half of the groupset comes from Shimano's 105 ensemble - and on top of that, the ten-speed groupset that was replaced last year. The heavy Tiagra cranks only show poorer shifting behaviour under load, while the weak brakes are clearly inferior to the new 105 models. The wheels and other components also don't seem to have been selected with a view to maximising quality. Overall, the bike is no bargain.

CONCLUSION Frame with a sporty orientation, without weaknesses, with a beautiful finish. But very poorly equipped in comparison
