The lightest frameset in the test is stiff, comfortable and well equipped. The gears and brakes come from SRAM's new Red groupset and are of a professional standard; the carbon wheels and 4ZA brand attachments look solid. The Grifo tubular tyres allow you to float over small obstacles; the grip and comfort of the supple tyres are top class. In comparison with Fuji and Specialized, the other tubular wheels in the test, our testers noted the slightly higher wheel weight. The X-Night is not quite as lively and agile, but without being cumbersome. An interesting feature is the option of having the frame painted in the colour of your choice for an extra 165 euros.
